I like the walls, because they add an element of skill and strategy. If anything i would like to see more cool environmental change in feast. how about some raising and lowering platform action yeah?
Is like..WD after an earthquake now..same setup..da walls just have cracks in em now. Happy day for bursty brds and blms. Makes it easier to chase (or run from). Keep in mind new maps inc..so we get the dummied version now.
I am mixed on the walls, playing whm there are less LoS issues with healing. Though with the walls up I got slept far less. Will try it some more on whm or sch when the eso farming in feast slows down.
I'm glad many of you agree... but I wanted to point out... Although taking away the walls makes it more 'open' for casters and ranged to attack you (without being interrupted from lack of LoS), it also makes it easier for healers to heal people as they are running around in mid. Unless you really put a lot of focus on forcing a healer to pop all of their cooldowns (as well as CC-locking them), it's now harder to burst someone down against a good healer. Previously, you could just chase someone around a bend and lock them down before unloading a lot of damage, forcing the healer to chase.
I kind of liked how everyone was forced to be more strategic and intentional about their movements prior to the walls being removed.
I hope SE will consider putting the walls back in... but maybe not. =/
Absolutely took away strategy from the game mode to cater to lazy healers who now just get destroyed by range. Who even asked for this change......
