He made a valid point about content not lasting and the fact that the game throws gear at you for no effort at all. If you really consider Lore grinding or midas normal farm a challange, please just leave.

Its not only about a timespan how long gear lasts, one of the main points was how you can easily predict when they will release stuff.
I just joined at 3.0, but as they already confirmed: 3.3 will have a new 24 man raid. Surprising really, why not something entirely diffrent?
As I said, if you like to play afk fantasy 14, please do and throw money at them every month, but dont wonder if there are people around who dont like the idea of running around in a almost dead lobby hub world.

And in one of your earlier posts... I just think that some people want more stats or certain effects than the usual stuff atm, or at least some new traits. Because it is getting stale very fast, not about that we want to keep gear for x-bazillion years but some variety I guess?

Just continue like this 1-2 yrs and you will see the monotony in it, even you will "QQ" after a while if this cycle keeps up forever.
