Decreased Chocobo stamina?

I'm so glad I'm not the only one!

My chocobo seems to get stuck in the "lathered" status all the time now, and slowing down won't make it go away either. I'm not sure if it's because he's relatively new, bred him about a week before this patch, but nothing I do seems to stop me from being constantly lathered and it's really annoying. Trying to bump his endurance as much as possible to see if that makes a difference.

Still winning races okay, but it's definitely harder than it was. Also the stamina bar is smaller now, wtf happened to making it easier to see? xD

Edit: Straight after I posted this I discovered the real problem with whatever adjustments they've made - if someone uses an item that reduces your stamina in any way, it's almost impossible to recover now, whereas you could before. Definitely didn't need changing.
