    As a BLM, this does slightly scare me. 264 piety is needed in order to complete both the Fire III and Sharpcast opener without a delay. Only Dunefolk Lalas can achieve that without the pie bonus. Which means if they remove the pie bonus, every class other than that will have to spec points into piety or eat piety food, which is no good. So removing the Pie bonus would be absolutely absurd. They need to find a better way than just removing that.

    You don't have to meld accuracy. I don't mean to be harsh, but you're a healer. Heals don't miss. Meld you're crit all you want. I'm not quite sure where you were going with that. You're melding has absolutely nothing to do with the Pie bonus

    The way I look at is, its another utility. Its something that both AST and SCH bring to the party that helps BLM do more dmg. I view it just like Disembowel helping MCH and BRD. Of course I'd be a little salty if they just removed it completely. I love the idea of having both. My static normally runs AST and SCH, so it'd be nice to have that MIND bonus, but I wouldn't want to have to lose PIE bonus completely.

    Now if they did fold the 3% back into base race stats, then fine. But the PIE Bonus is pretty essential for BLM to do a proper opener which has a huge effect on our overall damage.

    I want my MND bonus on AST and SCH.

    But i also think if the piety bonus is removed or changed, they need to do something about base piety for races. I think i am right in saying that as it stands, piety is the only racial stat that can have a difference on a rotation for a job. This being the case, it does put certain races at a disadvantage when it comes to BLM. I would advocate MND party bonus on SCH and AST whilst tweeking racial stats so no race has an advantage over the others when it comes to the BLM rotation.

    Just disconnect stat buffs from Jobs and give a 3% boost to all stats from being in a Light Party. The point was to force diversity onto teams, but we have the LB nerf to do that now.
