I think they are going to try and make certain contents popular again. So I am betting that it will involve Diadem, Crystal Tower, Coil of Bahamut, Guildhest or a leveling dungeon from HW. Personaly, I am glad aslong as it does not involve crafting or gathering.

i hope it too, sadly.... with the previous step asking for critical item, i will not hope too much, soo far the relic 3.X is simply bad, most of the design behind are halfassed and are only used as a means for push us intoa type of content that they can't keep living without it. worst the whole purpose of the relic: "is a weapon that take time to be earned" when in the V1 it was: "the best weapon for your jobs"

sadly with the raider that did cry a river over the zenith relic that was at the same level we did see how it did go. same diadem was destroyed for allows the raid to get more player, when from the start the raid did never gather this much people. naturally people do the normal version of the raid, it's quite accessible, but ask most of them if they want to go into savage and i'm sure most of them will simply answer: "don't have the time" "don't have the static for" or simply "not interested".

dev try to make the raid as the mains activity what it's not.... what most player do? group, stuff at 4, that the main activity, but for yoshida it's not possible to create hard content for 4 player. he did say it while the fanfest of london... result most of the content are tuned down for make the raid more attractive...
i wonder how many % of the player base did finish BC13 before hw and even how many people did finis A4S now...

i want the relic to stand one more time next to the raid weapon. if you have a static it will give you the choice to have two different weapon... choice is not bad by nature.

some people now think "ill get the relic done and with the a8 tokens ill buy a weapon for another job or buy more gear and buy the weapon later"
since the dark gobdip drops in a7s it might be obtainable from the new void ark
i dont like my main job relic stats and i like the tom weapon stats more
by the time 3.3 come i might be able to upgrade it to 240 if its obtainable from the new void
and the next step will take at least a month after 3.3 and god knows what kind of grind will it be after a very easy step

unless we can chose the stats we want"which is what i liked about the 2.x relic" the next step the relic will continue to be useless to me and yes im not forced to do the quest but ill get it done anyway
with the many ways to obtain a weapon as good as the relic or better in heavensward,at least let us chose the stats we want...
its a nice step for those who like their weapons stats

Except for savage raids they made everything in Heavensward easier. We will see if doing so brings in loads of subscribers like ppl think it will, or if more and more people just get bored and quit playing.. My guess is the latter.

SS/PIE is better for WHM. WHM works better with SS, faster heals, faster DPS. AST works better with Crit because it has that extra 5% spell speed bonus in Diurnal and makes SS less worth and nocturnal is better with Crit.

Consistent heals (DET) are better than faster cast times. A healer relying on SS is more than likely one that's spending more time playing catch up to incoming, scripted damage instead of just timing their heals properly. Meanwhile, SS is only a DPS gain for BLMs since the MP issues that comes with stacking SS doesn't apply to them.

This is the 3.25 step, not the 3.3 step.

Seems like the biggest complaints about the 210 relic weapon were answered. This step is not a long grind, doesn't involve crafting and the weapon is relevant to non-raiders for a good while.
