How is Mercy Stroke a DPS gain, even if slight?

I just don't see where it fits in to any part of the rotation with only 200 pot and only if the enemy is 20% or less. I use Awareness, because as limited as it is 99% of the time I just don't think Mercy Stroke has a place.

It is not. its just better than filling spot with flash or fracture :P

It's off-GCD and does damage, it can also be used on adds and be back up later when the boss is low (or on more adds). It's by no means a great cross class, but it does what it does.

Ahh, its off GCD. Maybe I'll have to level MRD to 26 for this skill after all. I never use awareness anyway since you can't predict when a critical will happen.
