While I'm pretty indecisive with lvl 60 jobs contributing to your EXP%+, I do think we could do with some 2x EXP events. Maybe have an untradable potion as a reward from seasonal events that give 2x EXP for half an hour or something. Would be pretty fun, and anyone not interested in the EXP potions could just choose a different item to get.
