Which in turn would take quite a while to determine "most favourite PC add-on", and then dev time to convert it to PS version. Meaning those PS players would have to wait for a couple of months (most likely) before they could get the same benefits the PC players had been enjoying. Which is something SE apparently doesn't want to do.

Better later than never, especially if it is just for aesthetics and bring no advantages except maybe a cleaner UI.

Heres the funny thing with cleaning up or optimising the UI, people who optimise the default UI already give them selves an advantage over those who don't, so the addition of UI optimisation through addons doesn't actually change this. All this will do is give them more control over what they have been doing anyways, however this is a sony issue and hopefully this gets sorted.
