Are any crafting Jobs req. For Zodiac weapon?

I'm trying to map out how/when i 'll get the Zodiac weapon. Currently on Trial of the Braves and i was just wondering if any of the later steps wiill require a crafting Job and if so which?

It has dependencies on desynthesis for all 8 crafts. Not something you can reasonably solo on 1 character.

So i can have grandmaster do the dsynthing for me eh? I have meld and assimilate unlocked for what its worth.

Yes, Zydane. You can simply hire other people to do all the crafting stuff. There's no requirement to do any of the crafting yourself.

Welp i've decided to put the Zodiac weapon on hold. I seen screenshots of the Anima NIN relic Kannagi and thought it looked boring (no glow or animations) though the two pronged blades kinda cool looking. But I was informed by a FC member that Zodiac weapons weren't always super fancy and slowly beautified in patches so I can only imagine how it will look after they're 100 % finished changing its look amd ilvl. Long Story short i'm just gonna work on Anima And theres a patch today hopefully it makes Kannagi look delicious.

Desynthesis as well as crafting. But the crafted items required for the zodiac quest can be bought from MB so you don't necessarily need to craft at all. The melding part of the quest chain is also made in a manner which doesn't require the actual melding skill.

Before the launch of Heavensward, the relic was BiS for a lot of classes based on what you could add to it (whatever you wanted). Now it's just a glamour piece for the amount of work required for it. Right now the only real benefit of doing it is for skipping the first step of the current relic quest line, and even that isn't as much work as doing the first relic.
