Devs, could all of us please get these outfits that the China region is getting?

Personally, I don't mind all that much, because if you look around the actual Chinese site for where these glamours are introduced, it looks, at least, like they are already mog station items over there.

I mean, I could be wrong. And of course it'd be great if they weren't. But overall I just think it'd be neat if we were all given the chance to get them somehow instead of having no chance of it at all.

Got my Chinese friend to translate, you buy them from their cash shop with their points system. I believe you can outright buy points, or earn them from playing the game but they pay hourly so it's a different situation. The chocobo is also a limited time item apparently, the outfit is permanently on their shop.

I am not sure I understand your reply. You don't see any reason why not, as in why don't I agree that it should be in the mog station? I don't think it should be in the mog station, because I think it should be in-game in sub-based games.

If you're asking why I don't think it being in China is a good excuse for it being here, well I don't think it should be in the mog station in China nor here. There are plenty of things that happen in China that I disagree with, and the excuse that they do it so it's OK that we do it is kinda weird.

Well since Gold Saucer isn't in the Chinese version (I think?), we sort of do get exclusive gear. The stuff we buy with MGP.

Another vote for having chinese/korean exclusives made available to us, including that chocobo barding! Ideally would prefer just letting everyone have everything and not bothering with exclusives anymore, but I imagine that's part of some deal that was worked out when they brought FFXIV over to those regions.

Also, personally I don't mind it being on the mog station as long as it's not overpriced. Let's be honest, FFXIV's cash shop is pretty decent and fair compared to a lot of other MMOs with their wallet-gouging strategies. I don't think a $5-15 outfit is worth raising the pitchforks over.

I heard that part of the reason MGP was set up as a separate currency is that some places (I'm not even sure where) frown on even depicting fictional characters gambling. MGP is another layer removed from actual money. Not only is it not money in the real world (which alone would be enough to allow it most places, and for the game's Teen rating in the US), but it's not even money in our characters' world. To keep it that way, nothing obtained through the Gold Saucer is convertible to gil, and therefore our characters aren't gambling.
