Something else I just realized, they gave JP servers a way to technically buy 30,000 MGP. Yeah they have to buy a few drinks, but how much do drinks go for in Japanese convenience stores? If it's like their US or EU counterparts, not that much. >x>

Oh god please don't make it all Japan exclusive that's an extremely bad look for your game, I would VERY much love to get this outfit I don't even care that's its a maids outfit i just really really want this game to have more dresses available and making all of these items only obtainable if your living in Japan is a massive middle finger to everyone else who doesn't, Please re-think this.

Pardon me but what I saw is a maid glamor attire and an ugly titan mask. These don't seems to have any effect on your status so how could it be pay to win? Also 30k MGP is not pay to win in my opinion. What items can you get from GS that will boost your stats though? I don't see any of these items can have any effect on giving you advantage over others?

I know this collaboration is actually sucks since well, I'm not in the NA, EU, JP nor AU area, and I really against this idea but trying to lump this with pay to win is not really fair I would say.

I believe you can purchase triple triad card-packs with MGP. It would give a slight advantage since it's essentially paying RL money for the cards in-game. This doesn't have anything to do with actual dungeons or raids, but it still gives an advantage to a section of the game that people invest a lot of time in, especially if you consider Triple Triad Tournaments. The definition of P2W is a bit different for every person. Personally, I think something like this is getting pretty close, if not directly right on the line for P2W.

All in all though, I think people are just upset that they have to have good luck (cactpots,lottery) or spend a lot of time grinding out triple triad for the MGP to purchase cardpacks and whatnot, but here it's possible to just spend money and get those much easier. With the maid/butler outfits and the mount, it's available to JP players first whereas the rest of the world has to wait even though we're all playing the same game. This is assuming they will release it to us after the campaign is over, or when they manage to do something in NA/EU with international companies, which would take even longer. It just seems a bit unfair some players have to wait while some don't just because of region.

as someone else who doesnt live on NA or EU, yeah, why not just put all the exclusive stuff on the mogstation? and give the money directly to SE without any of those hassles of thinking on how to implement them outside of japan?

Aw man. I really really wanted this gear. Was saving MGP because I thought it would be gold saucer. Hopefully they add it some other way soon...

I hope they add them to the Mog Station and not some promotion with 7 Eleven of NA/EU, otherwise us Aussies will be left out like usual. :l
