Is it really a bad idea to make a FC/shared house's Orchestrion sheets shared?

I prefer the system the way it is. That way I can go from my FC house to my personal house to the Inn room and play the music I have and not have to get 3 copies of the same music to use in all three orchestrions

Pretty sure they meant if people in your fc have it, you can switch to that song too without needing the actual scroll.

Let's say if someone in your FC has titan's (which is like 600k atm) and you want to listen to it but they're not on and don't feel like paying 600k. If that person in your FC has played it at least once on the orchestrion, it should be available at all the orchestrions for your FC members etc. Sort of like, if you've heard it on an orchestrion, you can now use that song on your inn/personal house one too.

If they were going to go that far, then they should get rid of the rolls altogether and just have all orchestrions play any music in the game, because at that point the song rolls wouldn't ever be part of most players' game, anyway. Once one person has collected something nobody else needs to is a bad design for an MMO that relies on continuous demand.

(And yes, that's another common wish. There are quite a few players who were hoping we'd get a feature to select whatever background music we want, without any items to collect to unlock each one. I'm not one of them, since I'm a collector who likes the opportunity to unlock each individually, but I can certainly understand that desire. What doesn't work is having the rolls exist but be completely useless to anyone but the first player in an FC.)
