25 pages of people rationalizing why it's OK to not let new players watch the cutscenes as they were designed to be seen.
And here comes page 26!

Yup! But this isn't something that has only affected new players. Since launch, people were pressured to skip CSs since these were the dungeons to run for tomes. To make it more exciting, players actually got BOOTED for refusing to skip them. But then SE made some changes, people are now overgeared and can clear these fights with ease, and people don't get threatened with the boot for watching the CSs. If anything, I'd say new players have it easy these days![]()
That's what people only believe. That they should get helped everytime. But the reality is different, while some players are helpful, there are people who don't care about you or me.. and there is nothing we can do about it. No one is forcing us to group with people like that, but that's what random duty finder is all about, "unexpected". We just have to have a decent critical thinking in order to accept this. MMO in general is... very dangerous place, one wrong experience and it can ruin your day. If you suddenly stop playing, no one will care except friends. That's why playing with friends/FC is the best way to deal with this problem.

They can watch them to their heart's content.
They just shouldn't also have the expectation that everyone else is going to be willing to wait for them to finish all of their cutscenes before engaging the next boss, for instance.

Not to flood this topic with off-topic discussion, I will keep replying to this post, while addressing you, Kerwin.
As i said before, categorized differently. Not MSQ, but dungeon.
The example you gave me is here:
Instanced Dungeons > The Praetorium > Cutscenes #8, 9, 10, 11, and 12.

Particularly the elevator scene between bosses with Van Baulser.
Diasable your skip cutscenes in options and re-watch them in a run again. Then go to the inn room to confirm yourself.
(Last instance of 2.0 MSQ)

For clarification, do you mean after Nero and before Gaius, or after fighting Gaius but before Ultima?
