Most people just jump the nearest target and go crazy, regardless of what their job is or if it's the smart thing to do.
I find the gameplay in 8v8 is more in tune with what happens when two full parties meet in Frontlines.

Also, getting rid of target lines, and filtering out certain floating texts would alleviate the fireworks, did for me.
I only see my damage numbers, and all status effects no matter the source, it cleans up the screen immensely.

Exactly. It felt a little too similar to Frontlines to me. I even played an 8 vs 8 match in which both teams completely ignored the medal drops. My team won because I took the time to actually walk around the map and collect all the crap everyone else was ignoring, including the enemy. Don't get me wrong, FL is fun and all, but it can be a little too mindless at times. For players who just like to "Kill! Kill! Kill!" and nothing else, it's fine. When I'm in that mood, then 8 vs 8 is where it's at. Any other time, though, and 4 vs 4 is more satisfying, because I actually feel like I worked for my kills and wins in 4 vs 4.

I considered doing this as well, but I opted against it because I like seeing these things during raids and trials. I might still do it though. The more I play, the more I find I'd prefer a streamlined display ... I just have to get over my paranoia of irreparably screwing up my UI settings. If there's a way to break my system config, I'm sure I'd find it. I'm techno talented like that.
