I would rather have longer midcore large group dungeons than savage modes. It would be quite hard on some of the smaller servers even getting 24 savage going.
That's the best way to create the Ultimate Chaos Raid.
I.. honestly whined because I didn't think it was going to be replaced as quickly as it was. When the patch came out it got immediately replaced. Gear cycles through this game so fast i'm suprised people are doing any content.
As soon as the patch came out I instantly replaced all my gear - due to the fact it was made 100x easier to get.
Then again; all the peoples raid gear they worked so hard to get was also instantly replaced.

I'm with many others here; while it would be okay to introduce a slightly more difficult 24-man instance, it would still need to be doable via DF. Otherwise it'd be (for all practical reasons) locked to those rare few FCs sporting three raiding groups (or people who outside of that are able to cooperate with two other statics) -- and who can agree on a day and time that fits all of them.
But it'd be interesting to see more 8-man instances who are not raid or trial (i.e. dungeons), and it'd be equally interesting to see tougher content that's for 4 players.
Base on my previous experience on a 24 man raid in allod online I forgot what was the max raid number but back in those days there's only 4 raid that manage to get the raid going on the entire server on one faction only 1 raid manage to beat it and the other cant even make it to the 3rd boss and there are a total of 8 bosses.....
I highly doubt we will make it happen here
I actually like the idea. As many suggest the savage shouldn't be as hard as regular savage but definitely a challenge if the teams don't work together. Several games have large and challenging raids, I don't see why we have to be forced to only small group raids.
Also on the flip side it would be interesting to have 4 man raids for say the majority of a fight to meet up at the end to do an 8 man boss. Or even a 4 man raid or two for people with a few friends.
We... pretty much have a few of the first variety. Where it's an 8-man raid, but you need to split up into two teams of 4 until you get to the last boss. I'd prefer the latter, where you actually queue up with a light party to do all of it.
Honestly, I'd more love to have a 24 man trial. Can you imagine having to fight leviathan, shiva, and ramuh at once? Levi dropping water puddles on the larger floating platform and dashing across/ slamming it every so often. Shiva and ramuh alternating between freezing and electrifying the puddles. And as the battle goes on the puddles could be a soft enrage, slowing filling up the platform.
Ravana, Thordan and Bismarck could work too, with a giant 'island' that has walls that Ravana and thordan can drestroy. Would need to keep an eye on thordans knights and the weather Bismarck changes everything to. For wind you'd need to run against a wall a- lash ravanas heavens pillars for example.
Even the big three could work together, Ifirit, Garuda and Titan. An arena with Garuda pillars that both Titan and Ifirit can destroy. maybe the pillars would buffer all of their ultimates.
