The Wind Silk Pants are "hippie pants", not jeans; and the Dragonskin (and what's the other? Expeditionary?) are "Biker Leathers" in my culture

T shirts in this particular FF game? No thanks, that would look ridiculous. Hoodies would be even worse. For "casual" clothing, you can save up some MGP and buy civilian clothing from the Gold Saucer. We've already got the frat bro look with the coeurl talisman or whatever it is.

Cute knee length dresses

Tube tops / shirtless corsets and tube dresses

And for guys, checked shirts

Warm beanies

Watc... I mean wrist chronometers

Do tell if any of them are already in game, particularly the dresses and tops, because I'm looking for a warrior glamour. I feel the game has a lot of flamboyant clown costumes, medieval outfits (both commoner's and noblemen's clothes), swimsuits, battle armor and exotic attires but it's difficult to find casual clothes or anything that a person might wear in real life.

I personally prefer to keep non-fantasy outfits out of the game.

For example, I love Aion's fantasy armor, but having someone run by in a hoodie with Dr. Dre earphones and talking on a cell phone kind of bothers me. (Yes, this is a real occurrence in Aion now...)

I love that FFXIV is a throwback to all the classic FF games that I loved (I, IV, VI, VII, etc) and am hoping it stays in its theme.

This game already feels very modern to me in terms of clothes they offer.. wind silk pants for example feel like they're from a j-rock design.. More fantasy.. less modern please.. its a fantasy game..
