Coils of Bahamut need extra motivation

Seen quite a few PFs on cerby going - free carry through coils, exs etc... if you have poe bonus.

Joined someone looking for coil clears as well yesterday - was fun - sadly group fell appart in T9 because... well ya know... mechanics... you still kinda need to do them...

I had a group carry me through all coils and extreme primals last night. They wanted the 100 poetic bonus for each kill since I had never done them. Since I am also doing my relic I got a ton of tomes and got to clear the content I had not seen before.

Here's an idea. During our Anima Weapon there is a step where you have to collect a certain amount of some item of Allagan origin, similar to collecting Unidentifiables currently. They can be obtained by clearing 2.0 Raids whether it be Coil or Crystal Tower. The idea would be that they would function under the 'chance to get it when you clear' system we saw during the Zodiac step and would have higher drop rates in the Coils than in Crystal Tower, with Final Coil having the highest drop rates. This would make it so we go back for this older content. A hardcore player could go for Coils that while harder have higher drop rates and take less time while the more casual players do Crystal Tower that have lower rates and take more time but are much easier. It's something that could create a steady flow into the 2.0 Raiding content for some time. It could also piss a lot of people off too.

The devs will never mix raid content with relic content. Relic is designed for people who can't raid or don't want to and have plenty of time on their hands, as stated by the devs in their discussion about patch 3.1 and the future.

13 coils and 6 EX Primals, damn, that was a free 1900 ESO just for lugging you around. And that's assuming you didn't do Bismark and Ravana.

More Motivation for coil?

I just did most of the stuff in df and the cues where long but not unbearable. My problem wih the whole thing is the raids are still fun but... well rather I think they WHERE really fun because some bosses died so fast there were hardly any mechanics. You want to do the fight (2 or 3 coil?) the traditional way? Nah, let's wait for enrage...
I would do the older stuff more often if I didn't have to forever keep the glamour pieces, that would be my main reason to go in there. If they had a glamour closet system (wink wink) I would try to get every glamour there is and for that I would have to run the raids a bunch, also I'd have a reason to level all my classes.
As for crystal tower I like 24 man raids best so I wish I could do them more... but I'm the kind of person who needs a reason other than fun to do things most of the time.
