Can you elaborate? From what I understand spells can miss just like attacks can, DoTs that deal damage with initial hit also can and at level 50 you can have 5 cross classed abilities, Blizzard II Bind duration is shorter by 12 seconds compared to Tri-Bind but the AoE hit has more potency and is around the player so I think I'd take Hawk's Eye. I'm no expert tho, just seemed strange to me.

To be fair, as SMN, once you get past Raging Strikes and Swiftcast, your cross-class skills are already into the "situational" territory, and for that fifth slot, you only have a choice between Hawk's Eye and Surecast

Didn't think of the 100% hit rate Hawk's Eye give you... but I doubt that this summoner did as Hawk's Eye was the only crossclass skill they used...

One time I joined an A6 run in progress. The other 7 members were at the final boss and still fighting, so I had to wait for them. I thought they were gonna wipe, But no, they had the boss down to like 10% and just kept on doing fine. They beat the boss and the loot is distributed. I rolled a 91 on the Midan Bolt...only for another party member to say NO ONE ROLL ON THE BOLT! I uh...I kinda won the bolt, felt terribly awkward and then left. I've never felt so awkward in my life...

Man you dont have to feel bad really.

If these guys wanted to set their own loot rules they should have set a PF party.

In DF = free for all especially on this kind of temporary filler content. People who managed to reach Midas should be aware of that so no need to feel bad for them.

Basically, more Void Ark fun.

This AST mainly cast Benefic and would stand for extended periods of time, not bothering to assist in DPS when there were plenty of opportunities. The tank was popping proper cooldowns, and this AST wanted him to be unnecessarily topped off. Not only this, they actually wanted me to slow down with my Esunas because they were too slow to cast Exalted Detriment. Issue is, you can't really take your sweet time removing the debuffs when everyone's getting hit because of awkward positioning and the healer has to move around to get to some people. They were too busy dicking around in Alliance Chat to actually do their job.

It was especially bad when people weren't taking care of Pagan's Knot adds.

I queue for English only. I am a PvPer and the number 1 rule of Frontline queues is to queue in the dominate language of your data center or your queue will never pop. The Duty Finder picks the language before finding the party. So there is no possible way I could accidentally be in a party that was non-English.

I don't understand where this non-existent language barrier is coming from. I'm speaking English right now, fluidly, and 100% of my posts are in English. If he didn't speak English, why would he have said, "You're not even speaking English"? If he didn't understand English, there would be no reason to make that remark, nor would I have understood the remark if he had said it in another language. Everyone present in that party spoke English, which is why I quoted things said in English. No one even used the auto-translate functions. The PLD was just being cheeky.

I am going to agree 100% with Ivy on this one. This very accurately describes the situation and I don't understand how it could be interpreted any other way.

My mistake, sometimes sleepy when I browse the forums so mistook what you're post actually meant. I didn't mean to cause offence by suggesting that you may have queued for languages you did not speak, just listing what could of happened. But as I said I completely read it wrong and messed up >.<

Wait A6 has auto-clean enrage?

Holy hell. I've seen it go off in A8, but A6? Those are some bad DDs.

I know right? With so many raises I was fighting on fumes for MP at times. But we did clear and I had a good laugh at the end. It almost makes me want to see if I can get a group to make it to enrage on A5 and 7 now, almost. But I'd rather get my part and move on. ^_^

Tried to catch up with expert roulette before the reset. Didn't end so well.

Got Amdapor HM, like most times. So this shouldn't have been a problem, if only the tank wasn't in such a hurry again. He tried to go for a lockout on the first boss, but 2 of the butterfly mobs getting in. LB1 pop'd shortly after, so I used it on those 2 mobs & boss, but got hit with confusion in turn. Not the best start, but the fight continued like normal after that.

Until both I and the healer can't make it out of his AOE in time and get hit by confusion. We start slapping each other and I end up killing the healer after one of my attacks crits...
We eventually wiped at ~5% with me last. The tank then of course decides to DC out and we abandoned

(I know this isn't a duty finder post but hey)

Joined a Sephi Ex kill group on bard, got to P3 and i have the green de-buff, so i go to the front of the boss and get the tether. I then used repelling shot to get away from the boss and i must have turned by accident cause next thing i know i've fallen off xD I did it once before and got back fine, so thought i'd try again and failed miserably…save to say i won't be doing that again xD

Also did my expert roulette on my sch, got Anti-tower. Was a really good run Fast dps, no deaths or mistakes, chatty too. I was dpsing most of the time, adding my dots and what not, while chatting with them. Left with 3 commendations :3
