When SE says it's pretty much had to redo the whole game...it does feel that way doesn't it everyone?

I feel like when 1.19 patch hits it's like the start of a new game...Instead of choosing a city to join and start my adventure...I'll be hearing epic speeches to lure me into my adventure with a grand company...

To decide where my adventure will take me I must choose 1 of 3 paths...from there I'll be granted privileges and quests...and journeys anew.

What to expect in Eorzea? Sooo excited...I had a dream or nightmare the other day that Ishgard was in an odd location to be a staging point for war...that is unless the Empire comes bearing down in Gridania destroying it and pushing it's denizens to Ishgard...I certainly hope this is only a dream...though it would add major excitement...the battle to reclaim Gridania from the Empire...brings about and epic war of magicks vs machines derived from magicks...stirs the wood to act...the Moogles come out of hiding...the spirits arise to defend their home...

Sorry it's the novelist in me coming out wanting to write a novel with every thought I have. Maybe if I wrote that novel then I'd have less to say in general. Brains too full of good stuff to not share...maybe it's not good stuff ROFL. Tough!!!

The first time I logged on after updating to 1.18 was the first time I truly felt like I was playing a Final Fantasy game, and it felt great. I'm pretty psyched for Tuesday.

i bring this up a lot, but until they re-do the world and add in the classes, everything they add to this game just feels off. My big issue with beatmen outposts and the ifrit fight? them being set in the crappy world we have now....every time i see Thanlan in the background of something cool like the ifrit fight i just go..."bleh". Same with combat...love the changes, but i dont care to level because the classes feel the same and i didnt like them all that much from the start (the set up more then anything).


change those things and everything else for me will feel so much better.

It's been said time and time again. Those changes are coming. Remember the Famitsu interview Reinhart translated where Yoshi-P said they're at about 50% with the changes they want to make.
