I gotta say this was a big relief to me after reading in the JP translation thread that Ifrit was only "pretty difficult", and the speculation in this thread based on the video. Hopefully the Hard Mode at least tops the encounters in Darkhold (I don't expect anything to blow my socks off until the battle system is complete and we have alliance content).

So there was a video on the FFXIV YouTube channel of some devs testing the livestreaming equipment.

It's since been made private, but I snagged a screenshot (linked below) revealing two interesting tidbits of information:

1. The UI lock button has been changed from a star to a padlock (if that's even what the star was in the first place)
2. Their test builds are called Rapture
