Now that Playstation VR has a price Could we consider

Today Sony put a price tag and a date on Playstation VR.

Now that's it out there. Is there anyway way we could get square to reconsider adding the VR that they made for the TGS into the game? The idead of being able to enjoy the art of the world from a VR standpoint is extremely appealing to me. Sitting next to friends watching fireworks at events, watching the snow fall at Camp Dragon Head, or the sun set at Camp Cloudtop in vr would be insane. I know its extremely silly but it would be something that i would enjoy immensely. but I guess its no sillier then /icam really and that's real..

Obviously im not thinking about actually doing fights with it cause yea first person and all but.. yea. It would definitely be a massive selling point for the Playstation VR for me and I just thought maybe if I'm not alone maybe SE would consider it if they knew people wanted it.

I mean, twenty thousand dollars is technically a price tag, but it's not something the average gamer is gonna spend just like that.

I heard $460.

While it might be neat to see Eorzea in VR, I don't think it's a good fit because FFXIV wasn't designed with it in mind. I don't think what limited use we'd get out of it (as the OP mentioned, you would be handicapped in battle using it) would justify any time spent implementing it into the game.

Didn't Yoshida say he's consider developing it for an extra fee tacked onto your subscription? It was likely a joke, but it goes to show how costly it would be to develop and not really worth the time.
