SMN is Broken in PvP

Yep and they are the only class with no type of defense or restore hp available from all the dps classes the can only use blizzard 2 to survive, they have no other opinions to creat space.

MCH says hi. Infact MCH doesn't even have blizzard II and less options than a SMN to CC or otherwise create distance.

The SMN is the glass cannon, and sadly the BLM is the Glass Nerf Bat, but that's a whole other article.

The SMN burst made them the designated "Killers" on your FL alliance, and if everyone catered to that by supporting them, you won. In Feast, not so much. Their burst is easily handled. When I play MCH, Silence Shot, Blank Shot, or (in 8v8) blowing a Burst on them to make them retreat mid burst are just 3 non-Purify ways to shut them down.

Silence doesn't prevent any of their burst since it's all abilties, not spells. Blank shot also requires you to be in melee range, and honestly it's not that big of a setback on a job that can do it's burst entirely on instant casts. Not to mention that all your examples aren't exclusive to SMN, but any ranged dps in general (just moreso on the other ranged jobs due to interrupt or damage penalty)

When I play Warrior, I shrug their Burst off easily with CDs, leaving me open to lob my Purify to one of my weaker teammates while still harassing the healer.

I'd like to have a game where the other team decides its a good idea to focus on our tank first =3=.

I don't play smn so I don't know what all they have, but mch has an aoe stun, a regular stun, a knockback, a bind, and a heavy.
