I feel 'bottom of my heart' is a little overkill for your sentiment. A "Thank you for all your hard work" would have really got the message across, but when you add 'from the bottom of my heart' it makes it seem like you hold an unhealthy connection to the brand of Square Enix and/or this dev team.
I agree the "thank you from the bottom of my heart" is a bit much.

But you know what sucks? Having a soul-sucking, thankless job. Programming, stocking shelves, custodial... to name a few. When I come into work (as a manager) I thank my employees. When I go out, I treat the staff with respect and give them genuine thanks for being great at what they do. Because I know how tough it is being in a position like this--I've been there myself. Their faces really, truly light up.
So maybe you should thank that Walmart employee sometime, and watch how it makes them feel. And ya know what? I get exceptional results from going out of my way to treat people well, even when I don't know them.
