Because the feast just came out
No one is doing frontlines anymore
Also you don't need a static for midas normal. Just duty finder it
I'm actually wondering about if the gears are only from A8 or just from any floor because I've gotten three so far and didn't clear A8 one week. I think patch 3.2 was 3 weeks ago. Anyone can confirm if it's really just dropped from A8 or all of Midas?^^^^^^ All the this. Even learning runs are usually useless once you have the first phase down.
My philosophy with this fight: Titan EX wasn't (and sometimes still isn't, sadly) usually clearable with PF. Thordan EX wasn't usually clearable with PF. And since the guy who designed those two fights designed Sephirot EX, I don't expect that to be clearable with PF either. Least not for a looooooooooong time.
You really don't need SephEX to get geared. If you're doing Midas 4 normal every week, you'll be getting these special gears, which, when you have 7, can be traded in for a special tomestone, and, when you have 10 of the tokens (= 1000 Tomes of Lore) required to purchase it, can be used to get your i230 Lore weapon. 7 weeks is too long for some people, and/or they want to jump into Savage immediately, so they rush to get the fastest higher ilvl weapon they can, which is SephEX atm. If it won't kill you to wait, you can get an even better weapon a month and half after 3.2 release by default if you're keeping up with your weekly business. ;P
Never mind I think I was just confused because I didn't get loot from A8 one week.

Honestly if I were you I'd do this: clear all trials ex on df starting from 50 ones (except thordan), clear thordan on pf, then clear sepiroth on pf and find a static for Midas.
Reason I'm saying clear old content in df first is because you probably lack practice at the moment, plus a lot of mechanisms come from older bosses, and also 50 rotation is much simpler. Any person who can bring 60 rotation to full potential while dodging aoes can also do the same with 50 one(I'd say titan ex is great to train dodging while not lossing dps with 50 rotation skills).
Obviously all that might take a few weeks and some trials might take over 30 df tries(over 100 attempts) but.. That's how you get really good at your role. Plus determination is a must as for savage.
Edit: lvl up your pulgist to lvl 15 as priority(do hunting log + fates and it won't take longer than two hours). And then do your job quest line in order to unlock the skills you missing. Having a job is pretty much a must(better stats and acess to lb3 and must skills). You won't regret. These skills make lvling easier and you get used to them faster the sooner you get them.

General rule of Party Finder:
Clear Party = Learning Party
Farm Party = Learning Party
Learning Party = Best chance to clear
Ive been making my own training party since Thursday, and ive got lucky to find people patient enough to stay for 4 hours. Ive been trying with the same people for 4 hours again friday and yesterday, and we're now at 18%. So we expect to clear it today.
When you will be 60 and geared enough you should make your own PF aswell and hopefully you will find patient people too. That's the best way.
Just be clear on your PF comment. If it can help this was my original PF comment :
"P1 training. Yes we will wipe this is what training sessions are for. Only join if you can stay as long as its needed, watched a guide and speak English."
I never had to replace anyone and nobody bailed.
