I just avoid doing the quests now. If he comes out with a Trial fight, well... guess that's one bit of content in FFXIV I'll never do.

I avoid his quests based on the assumption that his personality (as well as whatsherface and Godbert) is still one dimensional, meaning the sense of humour is nothing new.

I pretty much skip the cutscenes of the quests. I've enjoyed the trials that they've brought with them just do not like the story nor characters at all.
