Wow, I keep getting matched with bad people, I tell the blm to use his sleeps he tells me "I don't have any" WHAT THE HELL, then at the end of the match, I do the most healing, and he tells me "gitgud trash" when we lost WTF.

Wow.... I like how these ratings don't even reflect how good a player is, if they get matched up with bad players.

Really SE ? Was it that hard to put a pvp rank restriction to be able to tag in ranked matches ?
Let's take LoL as a example. What SE did is just like "oh you just DL the game, ok now you can do some ranked even if you are lvl 1 and have no experience in the mode !"
pvp rank = experience... Why would you put newbies : ppl who don't even know what to do with their skills with veterans players ? A BLM saying he has no sleep, this is bullshit.
Let 8v8 to ppl with no experience so they can rank up and learn how to play in pvp... (because, yes, you don't play pvp as you play in pve... Did the dev forget that ?)

I've seen several people with the Slaughterhouse and Hand of Mercy titles do stupid things in the Rank 4v4.

It is Day 1 and barely hour 3 into release.

Players have yet to start separating into the actual tiers. I'm currently at 200 rank points after 16 matches with 8 wins.

LoL and DotA started this exact same way.

Not sure anyone wants to read the no-longer-anonymous personal complaints about players. I would personally not feel all that kindly towards a teammate who said 'gitgud trash' to me irrespective of how things had played out.

Nope, not what i'm saying. The feast site says 4v4 does not have its own rankings, but in game it clearly does. That is enough for some of us to queue Feast. Without any separate ranking it is 100% pointless.

The site says it has its own rankings but they don't give seasonal rewards. If you're not after the rewards, just the ranking, then yeah it's fine. But I was hoping to get my buddies into the competitive side of ranking too. I'm out of town and can't play at the moment, sorry for the lack of firsthand information.

This is really disheartening as I was going to play with my FC mates and friends that just came back for 3.2 from my old WoW guild to PvP and get rating...what a let down now they're basically saying why bother with an arena style set up when there's no rewards in playing with friends? Not happy at all.

Edit: I hope this is a preseason thing just to work out the kinks right now for actual rated PvP and rankings because if this is what it's going to be there's no point as it just encourages bad PvP.

I mean, when you want to do some ranked games in LoL, you have to lvl up to 30 before (know how to farm, how to stuff yourself properly, def, strat, etc) and ofc you can still be matched with retards but it's still better than newcomers.
That's what i meant by "basic experience required". Then okay you have the doomed bronze zone and you have to struggle to rank up to silv, gold, etc.

Anyway, i'm really disappointed by the choices SE made. As a lot of ppl here, i was in a team really excited about the seasonal rewards and the fact we could play together (we are from different GC). We still can play together but the reward added more motivation.
I'm at work atm so i don't know what they think about all of this but i'm pretty sure everyone in my ls will lose their mind.
Hopefully it's just preseason. Let's see how it goes.

Cant even que 8v8 for some friendly scrims cuz its 2 person max...cant even do 4v4 teams cuz no incentive.

It would have been for win traders. So it's better this way. Unless SE started caring about banning people who cheat.
