Will we get more retainers at some point?

Paying for them feels bad. I mean, it is a subscription based game and they have a lot of materials in the game. Having them paid seems like they do have all those different items on purpose so we basically have to pay for them if you want to craft etc.

So, SquareEnix, are we getting any inventory upgrades or more FREE retainers in the future? I don't mind paying with GIL for them, but paying with Dollars or Euros is not OK in my honest opinion.

Don't count on it. They are making money with people who pay for extra ones each month, I don't see them giving us more for free and cutting their revenue down.

Honestly, I expect them to take away free retainers from us. They've already seen it's a great cash cow (I pay for 2 retainers myself), so might as well make even more money. Don't expect any more free retainers, ever.

Yeah, that is the sad thing. They should just make all crafting materials go into a seperate inventory, where there is enough space for everything in it. Like in Guild Wars 2.
I didn't like that game too much, but that was a really good thing that your materials didn't hog up your "normal" inventory.

I have all my crafts leveled and only pay for 1 extra retainer so have 3 total.

Unless the majority just suddenly stopped paying for retainers (good luck on that happening) and demanded for more space, it won't happen. I think its safe to say a fair amount of people, especially crafters have at least 1. Those die hard crafters are probably at max.

Its only an extra euro a month and it keeps my inventory space so freed up, might do a full clear out again soon, I have so much glamour fodder that I honestly will never use, so best to cut down.

I doubt they will give away, I could sort of see one being made available as a veteran reward, but I highly doubt that would happen.

It is 1.80€ actually, but it is not so much about the amount, but about the principle. I never had to pay for extra bank space in a subscription based mmorpg my whole life and I played quite a lot of them.
SWG, Anarchy, Eve and WoW mainly.
