Still making the same progress as I am on my new server not really getting any further than I did on Tonberry. Did play with a JP group and they were pretty good with co-ordination.

Finally cleared the dungeon on Monday!! Was pretty joyful about finally beating the shit out of Sepiroth. XD
I also accidentally went into a jp practice group before but luckily there are some who speak English. I taught them the ropes and in a few practices we manage to get to pinball phase. Nice and friendly peeps. They thanked me for the helpful tips.
Tbh, I felt this game is all about in sync with the party members. My cleared party was all focused on beating the dungeon. No snark nor salt.
2nd storm of words comes out we burn the boss as much as possible, ignore all adds and storm of words. Me as a dragoon, I did the last lvl 2 LB on boss. Afterwards, stack infront of storm of words to be blown towards boss than dps him till he dies.
It was a pretty clean fight. We always stack up in case for yesad so we know where to run. Maybe I might start farming Sepiroth now since I already collected Ravana extreme and Bismarck extreme mounts XD

Working on it with my static, but with members not showing up on time we're kind of at a temporary stand still unfortunately. The Sephy music is still awesome though.
While I do empathize, there is nothing stopping anyone from creating a learning party in PF. All it takes is a little bravery. Believe me, I was scared to make PF groups at first, but it's really a no-brainer. ^^ However the "wipe once and end party" mentality is something I will never ever understand. Everything has a learning curve.

Just did my first night of Sephirot EX and we got it down to sub 0.1% on our final lockout. We're gonna clean it out tomorrow night and let it rock.
I love this fight. =D

Moved back to Tonberry after having no luck on Masamune.
Any tips on what I should do in PF? I do put stuff like Phase 3 + and 1 loop experience but sometimes you find out later in that people have never seen Phase 3.
Should I be more strict? Don't wanna come off as an ass, be no better than the NA's

I finally cleared it and my man advice to those getting started is: Phase 1 blobs are the hardest part. They're basically the only RNG in the entire battle, so they can be a bit scary. Don't get disheartened, just communicate where you want to be beforehand and don't assume everyone knows - this goes twofold for healers, since there's basically only two spots for you and I can't tell you how many times I've been run over by OTs.
Other than that, it's just all memorization and situational awareness. And trust. Lots and lots of trust.
My own experiences in PF tells me that if you don't at least get to wind cleanly on your first clear through phase 1-2, you're probably not going to be able to get close to clearing.
Sometimes it is what you have to do. We were tired of running it over and over and having the same people cause problems so we took hard looks at everyone who messed up or who caused us to die for no reason (lack of heals after Tank buster or AoEs, hitting us with EarthShakers). Once we cleaned up the group and got rid of the dead weight we were finally able to clear it. It's not being an ass to ask people to be on the same level now that its been out for awhile.Moved back to Tonberry after having no luck on Masamune.

Got bitched at per /tell when for Thordy in week 2 I asked in my PF "XP until after meteors, no firsttimers"...Sometimes it is what you have to do. And yes often asking people politely to leave helps. When tried clear for a friend I rather disbanded though and reinvited including the 1 guy via PF that was capable and we cleared and farmed.

Made it to 1% past week, then never found a party that could do it again. Mistakes happen, but people should know that progression =/= clear.

I still haven't attempted him yet. My main reason was because I failed on the ex striking dummy. After getting some Alexander gear and Lore gear, I feel ready to start beating that guy with a book.
Going to finish my Alexander gear ups for the week and start reading guides today. I hope to beat him! If anyone has any tips for a SMN going in there, I'm happy to take them.
