I wish they'd just get rid of that "UNIQUE" tag and let people get two matching rings. (Getting rid of the "UNIQUE" tag would also help with armour that's shared between jobs when many people want to glamour the jobs differently.)

Technically speaking you CAN own two of a unique item. The game (for some reason) doesn't check if you have an item on a retainer (Either their inventory or equipped to them) just your inventory, armory chest and current equips. That said if you have it in your inventory when you try to take the duplicate from the retainer, you'll encounter the same error message you would if you were trying to buy/loot a second one. I have two different retainers holding phoenix downs I picked up from quests.

That doesn't help you equip two of the same ring, which is what OP is asking about.Technically speaking you CAN own two of a unique item. So what you're really asking is where you can get another 210 ring?
Obvious choice is Gordias (savage).
Not so obvious, but also correct, option is Diadem.

A 210 fending and 210 slaying is a ~1 attack point difference give or take a decimal. Its moot to choose between the two since both are useful for tanks now if they are the same iLevel. A 210 slaying ring is ~1 Attack point more than a 200 fending ring. What you're looking for is the secondary stats, Acc, Crit, Speed etc. If a 210 slaying has Crit and ACC and another 200 fending gives you Det and Parry. You're choosing between how effective the secondary is and what/if-it can be melded. So one of each at 210 is still better than one 210 and one 200 of the same type.
Summoner example: 210 Int with Det & Crit or 210 Mind with SS & Det for your second ring. Summoner still has Physic and Raise and either heals pets or emergency back up when the healer is Swift cast + Rez by the Summoner. This is more of a challenge to choose from given the initial concept of the job and it could make use of both given the situation.
Healer: 210 Mind x2 or one 210 Mind and one 210 INT? Unless V grade Mind is melded or the secondary stats make up or justify the use of INT for solo stuff. Healing potency will take a bigger hit by using one 210 Int over 200 Mind. Unless you can craft it or find a comparable ring from somewhere else. It's justifiable to have one mind ring ten iLevels below for healing. You just can't wear two of the same item if it is Unique

I was in a dungeon with a monk in a mix of melee/temple gear and full int accessories/belt just to fulfill the ilvl requirement to enter back in the Keeper of the Lake days. Needless to say it took a looong time to finish that run.
