    Considering how..."special" some people are in this game, the devs have to give warning pop ups on anything that the player cannot obtain or use in their current situation. There were quite a number of people complaining about wasting tomes on the wrong item, so the devs basically had idiot proof a lot of stuff.

    You still get people that ignore the warnings, then complain about it afterwards... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
