Wrong. Orchestration is 47 simple Boolean values. A glamour log would require over 4600 currently. Its a matter of freaking scale.

I believe you missed my point entirely, 47 or 4600 won't make much of a difference when compared to an entire inventory slot per slot. That's what people are peaved about, he said it would take as much as expanding inventory slots. Would you prefer I go with "They're saying they can give us all 50 slots per patch but wasted that server space of something as menial as an orchestrion?".

A matter of "freaking scale" doesn't matter when you cry and cry about server resources, only to implement an orchestrion across the board for every character. Either way, the amount of actual space used is incredibly small and should be doable by any competent developer, but SE is showing that they're not one of those developers. WildStar can do it and Guild Wars 2 can do it, how much do they charge you to pay monthly? Right. WoW, a game that's now over 11 years old has managed to squeeze it into their 15+ year old engine, not only that, but it tracks past items obtained from over a decade ago!

I'm sure most of us would be happy with 500-1,000 glamour log slots if that was the only amount they'd be willing to give us, but no, they can't do that as they won't be able to gouge us for inventory slots we rent. Renting inventory slots, that's a joke to say the very least.

Edit: This isn't even touching on the countless items they throw at us, time after time. Why do I need a separate item for accessories and the waist from Alexander Midas? Why do the head, feet or gloves need separate tokens? Why does the chest and legs need different tokens? Why is there over 30 glamour prisms? Why don't items stack over 99? Why do we have so much dyes, why not just buy a color and allow us to pick any shade? I could go on and on.

Question to people with this opinion. Should we just stop patches altogether until we get inventory space? After all someone, somewhere will find every single thing menial in some way or another.

I definitely used the wrong word there, sorry. If I were to rephrase that, I would say something less important in comparison. Inventory slots are essential to gameplay and anything done to alleviate the issue would be amazing whereas an Orchestrion, while nice, isn't too important. It can only be used when in your house/FC house/inn and comes with its own set of problems that have made it so no one I know actually uses the thing. That problem with how it projects audio, not sure why they went with the "realistic" route, I use realistic lightly.
