My BRD is a different character/server. Wanted to start from fresh since I'd been out of the loop for so long. Is Quelling Strikes a necessity?

Will get Swiftcast, for what spell is it typically used with?

Swiftcast can be used in case your pet dies but I generally use it for my shadowflare.

As for quelling strikes, I wouldn't say it is needed but it is a nice thing to have.
