You're all missing the point, and talking about stats. I'm talking about how it doesn't matter what tank it is, its the person knowing how to use it. So yes, they are all equal. Its the human controlling them that matters. Warriors need to get off me, you're not actually OP.

I empathize, but unfortunately this game's playerbase doesn't always work like that. The tanks aren't equal. Yes a skilled PLD/DRK is a better choice than a less skilled WAR, but if they're all equally skilled, most groups will pick the WAR if given the chance.

Its also not even just about competition between players. If you have all 3 tanks leveled most groups will take advantage of that and have you ping-pong between roles for encounters, a tactic that is enabled by this game not having true "alts" and being able to have every job leveled on a single character, discouraging people from simply working with what a skilled player is bringing to the table regardless of job. But I digress.
