Oh come off it. Everyone has equal rights to roll for something. Want the card guaranteed for you? Ask your mates to join your party and have them pass. This is no different from the complaints I seen from people that get upset whenever someone rolls on gear they "don't need", despite the fact that you can use gear in more than just wearing it.
Yeah, except that 50 MGP is almost nothing. It would be more akin to people rolling on gear they don't need and then turning around and selling it for the 350 gil you can get. They really should change it -- they likely assumed that people who already have the card just wouldn't roll except by mistake.Oh come off it. Everyone has equal rights to roll for something. Also, they did in fact implement the system to check if you already poses a particular minion (and mount I think) which will then block you from rolling. I had forgotten whether or not I had one of those Manderville trial minions just a couple days ago and when I tried to roll I got an error that told me that you can't roll on minions you already poses. They just need to include cards in that system (unless they decide selling highly sought after cards for almost nothing is the way they want the system to work).
