They removed the existence of that sword from the last chapter that sent him flying in the last arch. Although I'm wondering if Hildibrand is really that idiotic. It seems like it was a real big coincidence he chose to go right back, deeper into the same spot after waking up and seeing Godbert. Only to be yanked back out with both hands holding GIGI. Almost like he had a hunch something was still there...

Well it'd get a bit boring having the same character dynamics so I'm eager to see how Cyr pans out, especially with the WOL being used to the shenanigans.
