Haven't attempted past a4, but according to the excel web sheet I'm at 1030 with relic, so I should be able to beat a6s maybe, if just barely. I'll try tonight

Killed a5s dummy with pipira pira and hq dracopot, wthout it ill fail at 1%, rly close. This is with ilvl 210 bis, i hope you sacrifice fairy and swiftcast shadowflare.

Testing a6s dummy later when i get sephiroth, maybe a7s is possible with it.

Someone somewhere said food and pots don't work in sss, altho I'm not 100% sure this is the truth (but had no way to check otherwise).
Are you sure you didn't get lucky with crits?

Yep. I can beat a6 with just over a second left on Scholar. If I can get Selene to proc her spell speed buff a few time you can beat it with 2 seconds. xDD

Food and pots work just fine in SSS. They affect your stats. Just like gear. Only thing that is worthless in SSS is accuracy since they don't take the high accuracy of encounters into account.

Same actually, I really think the A5S dummy is overtuned just a tad on scholar. Even with pure energy flows from my stacks and using the dissipation trick I can't get past 4% or so.

Useless little exercise, but 'eh, something to do. Just wish you could link proof of clearance of any given dummy for laughs.

I find it strange that after you beat the dummy, it resets all of your cds and makes you wait for them.

It's kind of weird dummys for scholars have less hp than whitemages/astro ones, while scholars are known for their great dps next to healing.

got to 7% on the midas 1 savage dummy with 213 ilvl and 210 weapon.

Scholars are known for having a pet that isn't affected by cleric stance and is easily managed, on top of heavy burst healing and shields. We have a more in control MP recovery system as well. Scholars have less powerful overall DPS than WHM/AST, but have the most success at both DPSing and pulling a fair weight at healing.

Ah my bad, thought their damage overall would be better then a whitemages even if both would go all out. haven't played a scholar since 2.5 so yeah might be a bit outdated xD though I still would have expected the scholars dummy to have more hp, or the same as the other healer ones. it was just mostly a surprise to me.

This is why if you want spike damage get the white mage to contribute - i.e. something needs to die fast - presence of mind - stone 3 - burn it down... of course what they make up in burst they lack in sustain so you'll pretty much be out of mana.

I tried one of the dummies on my white mage and by the time 3 min were up I was out of mana.
