We are currently investigating this matter to determine what is preventing PS4 users from being able to update so that we may resolve this concern.

In the meantime, we would encourage you to please take the following steps as they may assist with allowing the PS4 to update:
    1. Reinstall FINAL FANTASY XIV
    2. If a reinstall is not successful, try rebuilding your PS4's database while in Safe Mode, following these steps: https://support.us.playstation.com/a...Safe-Mode-PS4/
    3. If all else fails, you may need to reformat your hard drive.

    Hello, thanks for the answer.

I deleted the whole install again for a second time, redownloaded everything, and with some miracle my game patches installed after alot of tries and errors.
This happened in Tuesday before your post I quote, but thanks.

I personally think what happened is unacceptable, not so much the error and our ruined 3.2 experience, but mostly the week-long silence.

Again I personally am totally going to ask for a 6 day subscription extension, and I firmly believe that you are obligated to extend the subscription of every single affected paying subscriber for as many days as he/she has been affected. I was personally affected for 6 days and a few hours.

I fully expect a reply on how we can get our subscriptions extended, a 100% fix for the error for the people that are affected, and a 100% reassurance that it won't happen again.
Wiping the data is an unacceptable solution.

And in my case, my internet bill is probably gonna be twice as usual this month.
It would feel good throwing a mogstation gift or two at us after the fix and the obligatory returning of our lost paid subscription days.

I either want an extension or just a refund. I cant play the game anymore and am already almost two weeks behind the group (Which has moved on...) Because honestly. I just cant play like this. It just overall leaves a sour taste in my mouth of -Ugh. That game- Dunno what to do. This sucks. I like my characters and ingame friends, But. Well. Here I am looking at random videos on youtube while every so often I see another friend go "OMG I CLEaREd A6S!" Really dis dishearten the overall experience.
