Maybe SE could remove slaying gear from the game since they're a noob trap.

Then put job limitation to accesories
That's all
It should solve the problem
As a healer my rule is the tank will get as much heal as he have VIT
You have non on accessories you get no healing
Simple as that
I will NOT work double nor squeeze my DPS because you're LAZY and want to up your DPS
And I will always be right
Heal rules !
True, maybe just not let tanks use them then.
It does need it regardless. Its getting tiresome each patch just avoiding parry like plague.
And its been like this since 2.0 (Didnt play before 2.0 so no idea if it was as bad before).
The issue with parry is that aside from bad scaling. The way encounters are designed it has little effect on survivability and that it doesnt do anything while youre off tanking. They would be far better off just removing it from gear and just putting it on the weapon kinda like pld shield has block in it.

I'd rather keep my crafted fending pieces over a crappy str ring anyday that's for sure. And guess what I put in them? STR. I get the AP value and I get hp? No way!?
Honestly str tanking is over if that 5% to you is more valuable then surviving mechanics you're gonna have a rude awakening. Had a co tank in midas 2 who took a single cannon blast with 1 stack and a rampart, he had full slaying and died. Nuff said.
It wont die aslong as its an increase. Whenever tanks hit the hp needed to stay alive it'll become relevant.I'd rather keep my crafted fending pieces over a crappy str ring anyday that's for sure. And guess what I put in them? STR. I get the AP value and I get hp? No way!?

That is how I am I am somewhat hybrid: I got 2 Gordian fending pieces and bought 2 unupgraded ESO pieces (Earring/Wrist) but as long as they only 200 compared to i210 slaying I still have I lose attack power, still I use the 200 fendings for Sephi the few times I try to tank it :3

Do not bet on this. 'Good' slaying accesoires beat the 'bad' fending ones by about 5 AP (while it was >50 AP before 3.2), which is ~0.5% dps increase (like from 1000 to 1005 dps).
A single additional attack like broil for about 1500 dmg from a healer every 5 minutes of a fight is the same contribution to raid dps.
Assuming the healer starts in CS he may have to drop it 1-2 GCDs earlier, because tank hp will be on floor 1-2 GCDs earlier. That's a dps loss.
Some STR accessories can be weighted higher than the VIT ones, but it's really not worth considering until you're in the i230-i240 realm depending on what content you're doing. The DPS increase you'll get will be super minimal especially compared to VIT -> STR / VIT -> Pentas pre-3.2 (which is when it was actually worth thinking about this stuff). You can feel free to min/max as long as you're first meeting the HP threshold for what you're doing, but it's kinda sorta pointless.
