Why do people not understand A8?

I still don't know what to do when the AoE circles and Arrow drop at the same time in A8 last phase.
For some reason I always die.
It's super confusing. At this point I think it's because I'm going in front of him and getting hit with something, but I still can't be sure. Thankfully I'm the only one that dies.

As I mentioned in my other thread in my experience most groups typically just screw up on the aoe stacking part in the last phase. Otherwise most DF groups I run with if they can do that part fine usually do it with little difficulty.

After bashing my head up against this for 5 hours straight I've come to the following conclusion: few want to learn, many just want a carry, and somehow it's always the fault of the "low dps". Even when it's a wipe because the tanks died to the tankbuster.

It's very healing intensive without people taking unnecessary damage; when they do, you start a downward spiral. I think it's possibly the first non-savage duty where *everyone* must pay attention to mechanics & from the experience I've had, some DPS are really bitter that their attention is being taken away from Netflix. They are continuing to play as if they don't need to bring their A-game, which in turn makes healers look bad because they're trying to keep everyone alive. The result is usually running out of MP (energy drain misses suck) & getting the full blame for a wipe. It's just too painful.

all I need to be happy, all I ask, is STACK FOR THE DAMN DUAL LASER CANNON! seems like every tank just eats that and dies every time I go in there. I can easily forgive little mistakes, but thats a very basic mechanic, even if people forget to stack I would like to at least see the tank turn the boss towards the party instead of eating a laser by himself.

Its the same mechanic from the final boss of Void Arc and a few other places, stack on the party to split damage similar to the dual laser cannons really. It hits hard but shouldn't be fatal unless you have a few vuln stacks from the raising/lowering platforms or something.

The problem is dodging the circles and getting to the stack in time without going in front of him and getting smoked for tonnes of damage.
It's tough as a BLM.
I'm having to use Aetherial Manipulation to get to the stack in time.
Void Ark mechanics are 1000 times easier.

I got a tank mate who din't know how to tank swap... it's the first time we got it in a casual content ?^^
you can't fight against it's a new content, just try to explain and then try.
It happen also with A4 in 3.0.
Also GG SE this A8 is a so epic fight XD.

honeslty, i've cleared this fight like 9 times now, and i still dunno what this tank swap mechanic is people keep mentioning ? >....>; ive never died in there, so i have no idea..

By the way if any of you guys have a solid tank guide for this i would be grateful.

Im always DFing it due to static not existing and it is extremely difficult to figure out with co tanks who dont even talk or anything (most of the time they dont even speak english it seems). At least i would like to be sure that my part is OK

Perpetual Ray=Tank Swap if you follow that I doubt you'd have an issue. Otherwise 3 stacks.
