Main issue is that she will use it even if the debuff can't be remove by Esuna/Leeches aka 95% of debuff in raid content.
Would be glad if they corrected that, this way, I could keep it for the WAR's pacification.
You'll make a fine corpse.
I find fairy swapping to be the most efficient thing to do when possible. For 4 man I generally use Eos on trash mobs since her buffed heals and mitigation allow me to contribute more AoE dps than if relying on selene's speed buff for the 30 sec the mobs are even alive for. But when fighting the bosses I'll swap to selene since the speed buff over a longer duration is more meaningful and damage to tank isn't as heavy as the large mob pulls.
8 mans I generally find parts in fights during progression where I can keep selene out but swap later on to eos when healing gets intensive (and vice versa).
My main issue with the fairies overall is that their utilities aren't really balanced with each other. All of Eos' abilities are very effective for healing raid damage but selene's tools are a lot more limited in application. With the silence being almost completely forgotten and the AoE leeches being handy but VERY situational, Selene's dps support tools don't weight as equally in my mind as Eos' healing support being offered. IMO i'd prefer if selene's silence were replaced with a different raid offensive utility to better balance against how much Eos has to offer.
B> Fey Explosion 15 sec cd 70 potency AOE based on mind (Equivalent to Topaz Carbuncles "Shining Topaz" instead of Silent Dusk [Even though it IS our only stop that skill limited applications or not.)]
I think I did the math a while back, but obviously the more people in your party the more DPS selene brings. 8 party members getting an extra attack every 33 hits, outweighs the extra hit Eos frees up with the extra healing. Eos boosts dps by almost 1% as long as you don't overheal, where as selene boosts dps APPROACHING 3%. Its not a massive difference, but a gain is a gain.
PS. Also Agreed. Fey Caress is the best thing that ever happened to selene. She is borderline a mechanic breaker.

Obey should be commanded just after your fairy summons in. Which is roughly two seconds after the summon ability finishes. For an example macro:
/ac Swiftcast <wait.2>
/ac Summon <wait.2>
/pac Obey <wait.6>
/pac Obey
The second Obey is present in case Swiftcast was down and you had to summon the long way.
On another note, I always use Eos because Selene's haste buff doesn't seem worth it. 0.075s shaved off a 2.5 second global cooldown seems completely insignificant. You'd earn an extra ability for every buffed 33 abilities you use... Except with the number of people espousing how useful it is, I'm starting to think I have the mechanics wrong. Could someone give me a rundown?
For me it's situational. Back in 2.0 I rarely used Selene, now I use her more than Eos. But it really depends on what I'm doing.
I never thought I would ever say this, but Selene's silence ability has been saving lives in a6s when the BRD dies.
I wish Selene's haste buff was more noticeable, but when you don't need Eos's healing kit she's still fairy-best-friend.
