Please Remove the Materia Melding Crafter Restriction

You're right. They are nothing to scoff at. Yet people in average content still do not use food or use the equivalent to an extra DPS cooldown 2-3 times a fight. SE does not require you to have these things to clear any content under savage. These melds are the same type of bonus. If you want the bonus take the small effort to acquire them. I know I am.

Food is nowhere near as important as 216 secondary stats, it's also incredibly expensive. That price is why people don't use it in DF. If it was free, I'd use it all the time.

Well you're fine to think it's stupid, it is a valid enough opinion. However there is going to be a group of people who think anything you can think of in this game is stupid. I'm simply going to say I do not think easing the incredibly small inconvenience of finding a crafter to meld your gear for stats that are completely unnecessary beyond the most difficult content is worth removing that utility from crafters. Edit: I also find this inconvenience totally acceptable for people who do the most difficult content that benefit the most from these stats, being someone who does have experience doing coils and savage; my opinion of course.
