So the trials released each content patch will be in the side Warring Triad story quests. So it's safe to assume 3.2 = Fiend, 3.3 = Goddess/Demon, 3.4 = The one not released in the previous patch. So I was thinking in 3.5 = Unukalhai absorbing all 3 like Kefka and trying to kill the WoL since everything else thrown at them hasn't?

Nah, probably "Batshit Crazy Thorden Priest" that's making waves in Ishguard. Him and the inquisition invade Azys Lla, we kick the High Priest's ass, the the Garlens get The Gration back iine at the last minute, blast the inquisition and wanna be Eikon to the 8th hell, and head back to Garlemauld with the crap tone of Allagan Tech they salvaged while in Azys Lla. This beginning our efforts to retake Ala Mihgo and secure our Eastern Front before the immenent Garlen-Eorzean War breaks out.

Unulhakai only mentions Primals who feed off elementally aspected aether--could it be that simple? After all this time could King Moggle Mog be our first tango with an Eikon? Or does it have to deal with their perpetuation cost?
Uhhh....welll...are the the six elements in Eorzea we know the only elements in existence (for aether to be aspected to)? I mean, so many "unaspected" things feel very distinct from each other, so if Alexander, Good King Moggle Mog XII, etc. are aspected to something undefined.....

Unless the plan has changed there won't be a 3.5. It was stated at the launch of 3.0 that they wanted to condense the patch cycle so they could get the next expansion out sooner. 3.3 will likely end the Heavensward story whilst 3.4 will introduce the conflict that leads us to Ala'Mhigo.

So we found out that Sephirot has a special aetheric property that allows for spontaneous/ extreme growth. This ability is then harnessed by the Allagans to use on their experiment.

This could be the reason why many Allagan experiments and even Allagans like Xande, Phlegeton, Amon, etc were so large.

We know that the Triad's energy is also used in creating chimerical experiments. I wonder what the other 2's abilities could be? I'm think one of them allows the merger/mixture to different creatures body parts (making chimeras/ hybrids)

We also discovered that it was the same Binding Coil technology sustaining and imprisoning The Triad as was holding Bahamut.

Yeah, it pretty much answers the speculation that the Eikons are self-sustaining ... which isn't true at all. It seems like they're just like Bahamut in that the Allagans are using "thralls" (would have liked to see the tree-like beast tribe) to sustain the Triad's form.

So then what makes them so special other than their unique aether? As it stands, I don't see much difference between Sephirot the Eikon vs other (Elder) Primals. Could it be it's because they (Sephirot at least) are based on more "primordial gods?" Sephirot is based on the Sacred World Tree and we found out in an interview that fragments of the original being is called upon when summon as a Primal. Does this mean that a little bit of the Sacred World Tree exists within Sephirot?

um, when bahamut was killed, it involved facing bahamut prime, who resided within the heart of bahamut. Was there an explanation as to why this was needed and what the Prime aspect of the being symbolized? because it sounded like a thing with primal of that scale, yet sephirot was handled like every other primal...with the added question of whatever there tree beings still exist to summon him.

it sounds like eikons are still the same thing as primals except the ones so far lack followers to summon. i would guess they trade immortality for power and sustainability, but, these seem no different.
