The problem with laying down ground rules is that only 100 out of 3000 (more or less) possible mentors would even see those rules. Once the current mentors log off and new mentors log in, those ground rules will change.Balmung didn't seem that bad yesterday night. My first time getting pulled into the Network once I was done with a raid last night, I suggested that all mentors should lay some ground rules. The Mentors in the Novice Network make or break that "first impression" of the community of your server. It's kind of serious thing to talk about in Novice network channel as this could indirectly affect new players not wanting to play, affecting FFXIV subs. It becomes a potential snowball effect if not strictly handled.
