They'll learn some bits of the fight... Then que again and meet another 6 first-timers. After another hour of wipes they'll disband and it'll repeat who knows how many times.
Do you think new players find this fun? Does that make the game attractive to them?
Getting knowledge of the fight is nice, but what's the point of it if it doesn't give you a clear? It's infinite loop of wipes until you get an almost full party of people who know the fight.

and it seems you are missing the point of the mentoring system. If you want clears go into PF or if your Jp than go to DF for the clear. This system was to help newer players LEARN and to match up with players willing to teach and assist in their jobs.

while I cannot say, that is the OP agenda there are a lot of people abusing the system already.

OP Shiva is really easy to learn, teach the fight to the members
