    During 3.1, i think, the devs added DS4 support to the PC client (before that the buttons config was a chaos and was not possible to change ingame).
    Just plug&play, no 3rd party pogramms/drivers needed

    Originally, I had to modify a file to manually map the buttons in FFXIV, but I think a recent FFXIV patch fully supported the PS4 controller for PC.

    Thanks for these responses, all. I'm at work now, but I will try disabling DS4Windows before I enter the game tonight.
