Can't choose between BLM and MCH

Trying to stick to a main job for this new patch.. for 3.1 I mained Mch the whole way but something that kind frustrates me is that wildfire comes up at the worst times, or not knowing when to use it so it doesn't get clipped. Even more with new fights. However, when I do know the fight well I'm pretty good at it and enjoy it quite a bit.

While not being a popular opinion, I find BLM a somewhat relaxing and fun job, love the big numbers and the final fantasyish feel I get for being this job. I like the strategic concept of it, knowing when to move, when to shield yourself, etc. It's a pretty engaging job.

Which would you guys have me choose? I'm really indecesive ;_;

I think one thing you should think of though - BLM seems to be the most popular dps role, with numbers slightly higher than DRG. Whilst MCH is the least played class in the game, just behind AST. So you may have trouble finding groups at high level if you decide to roll a BLM

Well I havent played mch but I am blm all the way. I love the job for the very reasons you listed, so if you are looking for those things, I would say blm for sure. Otherwise, research the rotations on both jobs and decide which interests you more.

Well machinist is not for everyone. Myself i am finding it hard to level because i find it clunky and boring, that's just to me.
And actually there are more smns then blms now, due to some switching over for various reasons....

I've tried MCH and I main BLM

I find BLM much easier to DPS with barring dungeons like Neverreap were you are having to move around a lot

maintaining Enochian is also another thing, there is a few times I'm having to use the 2.0 BLM rotation due to needing to move around a lot and enochian being very hard to maintain.

I suspect if wildfire annoys you, enochian is really going to drive you nuts

Too many procs and too much clutter and then deciding to manage whatever turret. Maybe I'll give it another go but some skills just scream "macro me together".
