i think Nin is slightly better than Brd in dps... although a good Brd isnt actually that bad many people are thinking of.

BRD is easier to play and has good dps
NIN does more dps on single target, but the aoe-dmg is very low
but nobody can say, what is the better class for you, that's only your choice
try both and then choose what you like more to play![]()
Nur hübsch sein reicht eben nicht. Man muss auch Bier trinken können.

I get that, I just don't want to drudge through 1-60 to find out if the class is for me. Since all the classes now dramatically change from 50-60. Just wanted to get a feel for if BRD was easier than BLM and if it wasn't then NIN was one of my other options. It sounds to me like the BRD-NIN is very similar in the DPS dept. I understand BLM blows them both out of the water, but BLM is a NO go for me, unless they fix the awful punishing rotation/movement mechanics.

If we are talking drastically changing, then brd is definitely the one that changes quite a lot. 50-60 ninja will almost stay the same. Armor Crush and extra jutsu might just throw off your timing to everything but adaptable. Besides Armor crush and 2 other offensive skills, you get 2 skills to lower enmity. Pretty much it. As for bard, you can still attack and move at the same time, but you are probably (in my experience) gonna eventually fall behind in dps to a brd who KNOWS how to use WM.I get that, I just don't want to drudge through 1-60 to find out if the class is for me.
