So I finally got my first rage quit.

Went into Duty Finder. Got Bowl of Embers. Easiest leveling duty in the game. Let's be honest. I was DRK. We had a SCH, DRG, BLM. The DRG decides to agro. No problem. I can get it back. Immediately dies to the knock back that pushes you off the edge. I think this is ok. I'm not one to get angry. Just take a bit longer without DRG. My healer then decides finishing healing is more important than dodging the insta-death. I jump off the edge to rest since you can't win without a healer. Second run, DRG instantly dies to the same thing. We get his heart to show. No one hits it except me. The SCH at least knows what to do at this point. BLM gets hit by the insta-death attack. We rest. Third try in a row, DRG dies again to the same attack. I feel like he's trolling at this point. I tell him to avoid the attack. It really isn't hard. You just move away. SCH dies, so I reset ( jump off the edge).

4th, 5th, and 6th time are repeat. DRG, SCH die instantly. After politely telling them how to do this primal, they wipe again. 7th time. 7th TIME. I finally tell them, I'm done. I just left.
I don't even care about doing my daily today. I know this is a rant, but I've never had 3 people be this bad before. Was I wrong for leaving? I've been playing for 4 months now. I've never seen this before. I've always just carried my team as the tank. Never once failed a dungeon or primal. I just can't take it anymore. No one, and I meant NO ONE was even trying to dodge the easy skill shot. I've never failed this before. Am I just a jerk, or was I smart to leave?

I would have quit after the third attempt, as after explaining and obviously no listening on their part, I'd be gone.

you can't fix stupid, and you can't fix other players as they are miles away from you and cannot enter their gaming room to slap their face. so.. you leave

I just feel so bad. This is the first time I just gave up. Bowl Of Embers has zero mechanics. Just hit it and doge. I finally feel like I understand this forum now. I couldn't even tell if the DRG was trolling or not. He was attacking first. They weren't even rude or anything.

It's honestly the first time I've ever not been able to do titan. Like, this was a 4-man. Not the 8-man. I was so nice to them. And they weren't mean or anything. They just couldn't dodge the attack. This is my first MMO. Like, We're level 30 something. The game holds your hand on how to dodge those line things. I've done this like 20 times. You can't lose. I FINALLY UNDERSTAND THE COMPLAINTS! I'm tilted. I had to wait 30 minutes to go back into Duty Finder lol. I'm a lvl 58 DRK. I didn't even know you could fail Titan.

To be fair before my fancy new computer I died literally every time to Landslide. The only way for me to not die to it was to constantly be moving, so I'd already be in motion when the castbar appeared.
There was not enough time for me actually dodge it.

Titan and I have a long relationship with each other. A relationship of hatred.
I got back at him by recently almost solo-dpsing EX. (Me, tank, and healer were helping a fresh other DPS get his primal EX clears).

This is how I was way back in 2.0, especially before they patched the AOE server checks. I not only had to memorize landslide, but back then weights did a ton of damage too so I was moving about 90% of the time, the 10% not moving was casting cures. With my new computer it's a lot better now, but ugh, it was a nightmare before.

(I actually find Titan Ex a bit easier for some reason).
