I don't criticize everything I find imperfect. Sometimes I defend their decisions because I think that they are good. Assuming that I do not find anything satisfactory is insulting. But do realize that I am not one to participate in meaningless chatter. If something is good enough, it is good enough. I won't criticize it. That doesn't mean I need to come out and say that it is good either. That may be beneficial on a personal level, but criticism is much more important as far as improving the actual product goes, and I find that ultimately more important. If there is no criticism to be found, the end result is good and should be assumed to be as such.

Constructive criticism means pointing out the positive along with the negative. Film critics don't only talk about the movies they don't like. Even people like The Filthy Critic, who is best known for his reviews of bad movies, knows enough to talk about films he actually enjoys.

If all you do is talk about the negative and say to yourself, "Well I think this is good, so I don't need to say anything about it," is it any surprise to you when people make the assumption that all you do is whine and complain?

It shouldn't be, because in essence that's exactly what you're doing.

If SE isn't being told when they're doing something right, how do they know anything they do is being done right?

Constructive criticism means explaining your criticism and perhaps offering solutions. You don't need to say anything positive for it to be constructive.

It's not a surprise at all, never said it was. But that shouldn't even matter and there should be no one telling me to go away because of those false perceptions.

Because players don't complain about it, they did it right. Very simple and self-explanatory.

You want to make it about the company's interests but this has nothing to do with the company. You acted on emotion and that is because you have a problem with people criticising the game instead of saying good things about it. The company won't benefit from that, but you will feel better. That's what this is about, so stop using SE as an excuse to justify your reaction.
