Sources of Tier V DoH materia

I was hoping to see some new source of t5 DoH materia, but looks like we're out of luck according to the patch notes.

What are the existing sources of t5 and tips for generating them?

Transmutation-> need to have lots of other tier five of other types and hope for the best?
Spirit bond crafted i170 gear (made with favor mats and all)

Maybe if we're lucky via the Mhachi Materia weekly (but I wouldn't be surprised if its DoW/DoM only)
Maybe via the new airhsip islands

I think Yoshi-P indicated that he wants G.V DoH and DoL materia to be rare for a while yet so people that made the investment will remain superior... so I'm not expecting Mhachi weekly to give DoH or DoL materia until the next major ilvl increase for crafters and gatherers.

I've never heard of tier Vs coming from 170s, I thought it was purely transmutation. I read that the transmutation rate will be raised next patch though, so that's something at least?

Really? Then yes that is pretty horrible answer, cause a few hardcore people have over melded V materia they not going to change it for the masses?

I think it just said "adjusted", rather than raised. We can hope though!

Yep I have gotten one Crontroll V from Transmute in like 400 materia....

I've broken down 16 total i170 Left side and nothing.... even got a TII wanted to flip a table...

I'll be upset if it turns out the recipes added in 3.2 require tier 5 melds. Because apparently theyre not making tier 5 that much easier to obtain.

Get a lot of DoM and DoW materia V
Then ask nicely to mutamix and hope he will give DoH and DoL materia XD

...

And DoH/DoL materia cannot be spiritbond if I remember right
They did not lift the spiritbond restriction

I've done 16 pieces of sky pirate... only one tier V....
